Welcome to Area 7
- brcarea7 Riding Club covers the Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire Counties. We have some fantastic venues in our Area including, Wittering Academy, Keysoe EC, Ely Eventing Centre, Home Farm Alconbury, Potter Lot Field and Boughton Park.
We aim to help riders across the UK develop their skills and enjoy riding. Our members have access to a broad range of opportunities for riders of all levels to compete, train and socialise. We also offer a host of additional benefits to our members.
Training
There are many different training opportunities available when you become a BRC member. We have two unique disciplines, riding test and style jumping, which we offer training to current panel members and new judges.
Competitions
As a member of Area 7 Riding Club, you have access to our local and national competitions including Area Qualifiers and Championships. You can enter qualifiers through your local affiliated riding club. Our affiliated Riding Clubs also offer opportunities to ride in area points and inter-club competitions.
Hat tagging and body protectors
All members must have their hats tagged before competing in any BRC qualifier or championship. For acceptable specifications, check the Hat Standards Guidelines.
All competitors in cross-country phases must wear a BETA Level 3 (Purple Label) body protector manufactured in 2009 or later.
